I gotta say, the journey to the end was far more fun than the ending itself. I mean, after killing all those gooey Lovecraftian creatures, I really didn't come in expecting a good or bad ending. Actually, I would rather live in a world where the gun does absolutely nothing except parry attacks.

...Well, maybe not that far, but this definitely converted me into a From Software fan. I love Anor Londo in Dark Souls 1, but every part of Bloodborne drips with lore, disturbing imagery and (healing?) blood. It's so visceral and thrilling, man. I dunno if Miyazaki could ever top this.
