So now you can't buy books through the Amazon app, you have to go open a web browser. What a stupid idea!

Editing … That's weird.. I googled it just now, supposedly it was done this way so amazon doesn't have to pay Apple a cut each time someone buys a book through the app. So I assume you're using an iPhone or iPad. (which is odd because I pegged you as an Android user)

Editing … well there's the Kindle app, maybe you have to use that. That's how I used to do it. I never used the regular Amazon app for anything. I prefer shopping on browser, since you get to, y'know, have multiple items open in separate tabs. The inability to do this made the app pretty useless imo. (not to mention other perks to using the browser, like being to copy/paste urls to items that I want on favslist! or other sites besides favlist)

Editing … OK, when I try to buy a book it says: To remain in compliance with the Google Play Store policies, you will no longer be able to buy new content from the app. You can build a reading list on the app and buy on Amazon website from your browser.

Editing … I might try that kindle app. It should get delivered to my kindle right, not just my phone?

Editing … It should be on all your devices I think? unno if you'd have to manually download it on each device. That may depend on your settings.

Editing … You've tried apps though right? A good mobile app optimised for a phone is head and shoulders above a browser.

Editing … that seems extreme. I think apps are stupid but I need them for some things, such as ebay. That said I do find email apps to be incredibly superfluous, as well as youtube, weather, and other things. I also hate that going to the imgur site asks that you use the app unless you request the desktop site, so I always just do that.

Editing … I just don't see why I should install a separate app when I can just use the browser. Worked fine for me for the past 6 years of owning an Android smartphone.
