So Hitman 3 is out today (sort of) and for the third time in a row IOI has required an online connection for equipment unlocks and the like. Oh, and on launch day the servers are totally screwed so everyone's having trouble playing their game properly. I've played the previous two games via the various venues it has been available more or less free, and that's the only way I'll ever be playing these titles until IOI abandons this stupid, pointless practice. Would have paid a lot of money to buy on Steam with all the legacy content and DLC, because these games are seriously choice, but I have less time to game these days than ever, and carving out game time only to be barred from playing because "Servers are down for maintenance" is a real kick to the nards.
