Just watched Season 4. It was really good but had a slow start. Really had that Coen brothers feel to it with lots of dark comedy and interesting characters that all end up intertwining. I was skeptical of Jason Shwartzman and Chris Rock as the main baddies but they both knocked it out of the park as unusual mob bosses. In particular episode 9 "East/West" was a gorgeous standalone work. Shot mostly in black and white and following two characters. It could have been a short movie on it's own. I'm back to being excited about this show and now I've gotta go back to see series 3 which I hadn't watched and series 2 which I started but never finished.
