What the hell is this 3DS series that's on sale? Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas...? Received an 8/10 from Nintendo Life?

So I played Parascientific Escape 1. It's indie as hell and the anime graphics aren't really that impressive. However, the scriptwriters came up with a tense scenario where psychic girls are trapped on a sinking cruise ship...Wait, this is just a ripoff of Zero Escape. Anyways, it feels cool to play as a geeky, telekinetic psychic who can solve sliding block puzzles hidden inside safes or something.

Pretty impressive for a $2.50 adventure. Yeah, it's only three hours, but I still enjoyed the hell out of that playthrough.

Editing … At a price point as low as that, I'd give anything a fair shot. I haven't played anything like that since the Zero Escape series.

Editing … Tl;dr version: Parascientific Escape is weeb garbage, but it's good weeb garbage. It's only $5? Maybe $2.50 when it goes on sale? Anyways, just get it.

Editing … Half of the scenario was ripped off of Zero Escape, but I still enjoyed what I played. I mean, the production values were cheap as hell. And I could tell that this was some scrappy indie project. However, I couldn't help laughing at one of the character designs. I mean, there's a dumb rabbit mascot person. She represents some mega-corporation secretly involved in...arms dealing or something.
