Asa Butterfield makes a very peculiar attempt at an american accent.
It's about as poor as Ewan McGregor's faux american. Often distracting, sometimes makes me want to dissociate from the experience entirely, but still not as bad as Charlie Cox's.

Asa is pretty cute though. If I meet him, I'll be sure to bring that up, and not mention this whole accent fiasco. Also his character is a dainty *109lb*. That's like, my weight.

Asa's irises look like camera shutters. Maybe that's why he was cast. I'll have to tell him that too, if we meet. I'll also have to ask Mr. Burton if that's why he ignored the obvious vocal deficiency.
