    My latest obsession.

I've been re-watching a bunch of stuff. The Dark Knight Returns and Under the Red Hood animated movies are still great. I've realised that I am severely lacking in the animated DC department, so I have ordered Assault on Arkham and Justice League: War, both of which I loved when I first saw them. I also ordered the old Batman movies, because it has been years since I've seen the Keaton's Batman. I have no intention of watching the travesty that is Batman & Robin though.

I also restarted Arrow from the beginning, as it has been a long time since I last watched it. I've also returned to watching Gotham too. It's my intention to watch as many of the DC shows as I can before I inevitably dive headlong into some other obsession.

Re-watched The Dark Knight Rises. It was my first time watching it on Blu-Ray and holy shit did they balls up with Tom Hardy's audio. They have made it so much louder than everything else and it's too "clean". It sounds like a horrible dub job. I hate it. I understand there were complaints about trying to understand Bane, but this is worse. It really put me off. I had zero issues with it in the cinema, so I am convinced they've edited it.

I also watched Man of Steel again. It's a good action movie and for the most part, I have enjoyed the DCEU. At least, the few movies I have seen (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman being good/ Suicide Squad being mediocre/ Justice League being awful).

Despite not being a comics guy, I have also pre-ordered the hardback of the Three Jokers, which I am excited to read when it comes out in November.

I'm aiming to watch the remaining movies in the DCEU and then moving onto the DCAU. (The follow-ups to Justice League War, etc). I've seen a couple of them before, but it was a while ago.

Batman has long been one of my favourite characters. I love antiheroes, vigolantes and bullshit Deus Ex Machina characters, so he ticks multiple boxes. Super hyped for Gotham Knights and I might finally return to playing Arkham Knight once I finish playing Horizon: Zero Dawn.

    I'm having a blast!

Editing … Teen Titans Go vs. Teen Titans is goddamn hilarious provided you don't have a bug up your ass about a cartoon that ended a bajillion years ago.

Editing … Would I need to have seen any of Teen Titans Go to enjoy it? I loved the original Teen Titans.

Editing … Nope! It helps to go in knowing to expect the Go! versions of the Titans are a bunch of immature assholes who only perform superheroics for the glory. Otherwise like most parodies, the jokes should all land provided you have a passing familiarity with the characters and DC Comics in general.
