Caviar is a decent power pop band, but then they cranked out bizarre tropical/power-pop hybrids like "Tangerine Speedo." The band clearly was fascinated with Beck's oddball sounds on Odelay, so they pulled every weird idea out of their hat to see what would work. The result: a CD with loud pop rock, sprinkled with strange sampling effects and baffling, nonsensical lyrics that makes me wonder what they were smoking. Err...what the hell. Just give it a 7.0.
