Harrison Wells is playing chess in a The Flashback, and his opponent got him in check.
Wells retorted by moving his rook to the edge of the board--h4--look, I'll just show you.

As far as I can discern, there are minor inconsistencies between shots, so I've copied down each corner based on when we have the clearest view of that area, even when later angles contradict what we saw. These inconsistencies don't matter even a little bit when it comes to the actual problems on display. Here is the board: https://i.imgur.com/ejkg2Cr.png
We see white's queen move to f8 and take a rook, putting black's king in check. Black's move is to then take their rook from e4 to h4--declared a checkmate.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW WRONG THIS IS
First off, if you're in check, you can't make any move that doesn't cancel out check. Black's ONLY move is to take white's queen with their own queen.
SECONDLY, that is NOT A FUCKING CHECKMATE
white's knight is PLAINLY OPEN TO TAKE THAT ROOK
SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES https://i.imgur.com/gyDIvDW.png (yes, white's other knight somehow changed positions between cuts)
