For an sprawling double CD, Reflektor sure turned out bizarre. It's an epic cacophony of strange new electronic disco instruments. Their best diversions include the Haitian rara sounds in "Here Comes the Night Time I." This album has its high and low points, but it still ranks among their best. The sheer scope and celebrity-studded promo campaign made this their most ambitious project to date.
