Oh btw, my Physics textbook still costs $300 new. It's two years old and the price hasn't dropped at all. I guess that's why people posted a torrent of the book in PDF form on The Pirate Bay.

Editing … Every student in the department is always pissed, because Pearson has never lowered the price. To make matters worse, Pearson just spends most of its time monetizing their online lab. Honestly, I held back on paying for a lot of this stuff, because their whole electronic GUI is confusing as hell.

Editing … After a lot of trial and error, I've learned that Pearson's e-text is not worth the price, because it's only six-months access to the PDF through a crappy app. The lab is the only thing worth anything, because it has material that gets graded automatically and sent to the instructors. It used to have a temporary access system. And then Pearson tried to monetize that with a lame, rude paywall that doesn't explain any of the rules, because they're jerks who just want money. And even the paywall doesn't really punish anyone for breaking the registration process for an hour. So...it's pointless. Lol.
