    Saved!
Google+ dies on April 2nd, and all consumer data will be deleted from the platform (I'm sure they'll hold onto everything for private use).
Did I ever tell you about the time YouTube automatically deleted my channel, and it turned out that it was because it wasn't linked to a Google+ account? When I caved and made one, the channel was automatically restored. My account had been basically held hostage. I don't know if it was even intentional, or just a mistake because they stopped accounting for non-G+ users.
so gg Google+ glad to see you perish

Somewhere along the lines of that Google+ integration, perhaps during that temporary account deletion, my entire public footprint on the site was erased. Every comment, gone. The channel's restoration brought back my subscriptions, my playlists, but all the comments were gone forever. So a genuine thanks for that, glad I could go incognito on the site, but you can leave now :)
