...Another one of those British rock albums that didn't receive much recognition in the U.S. Ladies and Gentlemen is a sonic spectacle full of spacey sound effects, harmonicas, gospel choirs and a bunch of epic ideas, mixed in a blender. Americans never really warmed up to a lot of daring British bands, but hey, this band was pretty good. I mean, there's more to the world than Radiohead and Oasis (I think?). And this one is a lot more interesting than Live's Secret Samadhi.
