Ratchet & Clank 3 is an excellent platformer-shooter hybrid, providing addictive and satisfying gameplay, a decent amount of content, and perhaps the series most memorable villain. The multiplayer is fantastic, giving a unique experience, but one that manages to appropriately capture the essence of series. The single player however is diluted (in comparison to the previous Ratchet & Clank game) due to the removal of several game mechanics and the conterproductive expansion of the previously introduced RPG mechanics.
