A lot of people probably kept watching Bleach because of this clever opening, fused with pop art. In all honesty, Orange Range is an overkill ensemble that probably shouldn't work--they have three rappers with a four-member rock band that plays at unconventional time signatures. However, this song was one of the most original, eclectic themes in the last decade. The animation style also made them look like the next best thing, but this intro was defined by the chaotic rap-rock flair of supergroup Orange Range.
