I liked this new version, but I admit--it feels a lot more techno-ey than the original arcade version. And it also feels less like an actual tournament game, because of all the slow motion effects and the conga-line nature of the power pellets. The game is still endlessly entertaining, though. The original Pac-Man creator definitely knew how to make it fun for a newer generation of players.

  Editing … Yeah, I've heard the same thing from everybody. It definitely lost something in the transition from the original to the revamp. The DX also added Metal Gear Solid ghost "stealth dodging", which is just weird. It's not the arcade classic, that's for sure.
