The game is full of shit like this and it is not okay, the further you get into the game the more of it there is. This would be so easy to fix with patches but 7 years later and still not one single patch for the game. I was looking forward to the postgame so much, played it for weeks then finally finished it and then it turns out the text & dialogue in the postgame is b r o k e n. What a waste of time. Straight up inexcusable.
