This was the first game my parents ever got me, for the Mac. I played it religiously as a young child. Like all Oregon Trail games it was something of a luck-based mission, but it was still a lot of fun, and I even made it all the way a few times! Honestly aside from sickness the greatest hazards were some of the late-game river crossings that were always a huge pain to get past. We lost a lot of time and food on those.
