For whatever reason, the Foo Fighters fourth album never shows up on any Best Albums of All Time lists. It's a shame, because this album has two of the band's biggest singles. It also has one of the most memorable songs that somehow ended up becoming a post-9/11 ballad, "Times Like These." One By One is known as one of those pivotal albums that established the Foo Fighters' future, because it suffered numerous delays, including a $1 million recording session that allegedly "sounded like crap," according to Dave Grohl. In many ways, this album was a testament to the band's perseverence against all odds.
