Apparently every hardcore rapper in Atlanta is a nerdy loser who can't make a living. At least that's the vibe I get out of this show. A lot of a dry humor in this comedy/drama, but the actors pull it off with perfection. The whole show feels like an authentic vision of a working-class African-American community, without any sugar-coated sitcom jokes or laugh tracks. It probably deserved more awards than Blackish, but hey, I'm just glad that the FX network extended it for a second season.
