I still like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' third album, but it lost some of its charm over the years. This time, the indie garage band decided to dabble with synthesizer and electronic sounds, with mixed results. Most of the experiments in It's Blitz! weren't too big of a departure, so it's still a good album. However, this was the beginning of the band's new dance-pop sound. At least the Yeahs sounded fresher than freakin' Franz Ferdinand. And that pizza box album design--priceless.
