Influenced heavily by both American Film Noir and the rising popularity of Spaghetti Westerns, A Colt Is My Passport makes for a fine addition to Nikkatsu Corporation's "Golden Age". While maybe not as popular or well known as his contemporaries, Joe Shishido is a great action lead and definitely deserves to be considered one of the best action leads of all time.

Still not as good as the Seijun Suzuki Nikkatsu films I've seen so far though. It comes close to Tokyo Drifter but I definitely enjoyed Branded to Kill more (another Joe Shishido led film).
