Saved!MrZAPEditing … My personal hope is that X-Men would remain its own thing and mostly isolated except possibly with multiverse crossovers and FF and all related characters would be wholly incorporated into the MCU (with no origin movie!). The X-Men would feel a bit out of place in the world that's been built so far, whether it's a continuation of the old franchise or a reboot. Let the Inhumans continue to be the main Mutant stand-ins in the MCU and occasionally introduce an individual mutant here or there without the team.
