    I feel like there were good intentions here to create a unique game. Unfortunately, the game just doesn't have much flow that you'd expect from a classic platformer with enemies that take way too long kill and the whole frequently bogs down with tedious combat, much of it unskippable. The levels are also kinda too long for the level of difficulty in some of the later stages, and replaying the long sections of tedious combat is really annoying. And the puzzle elements that allegedly make the game stand out? I like Tetris Attack as much as the next guy, but I can't say I think having a platformer where you stop what you're doing every minute or so and go play Tetris Attack is a particularly brilliant mechanic. At least the boss battles are neat, there's some good music, and the game's characters and story are preposterous in a good way.
