The first time I saw the band's photo in Rolling Stone, they looked absolutely ridiculous with their red shirts and their cheerleader-like outfits. However, the mega-band was almost like the coolest throwback to hip 70s music and the blaxploitation sounds of Shaft. Their concert setup might take minutes to get together, but the bright, colorful sound of their songs is always worth the wait. Besides, there's something admirable when a band has a rapper who literally improvises every single freestyle in concert. Ninja's got madskills.
