I really didn't think Modest Mouse would ever get played on the radio. Everyone who listened to the band's first two albums would know that singer Isaac Brock loves shouting like an incoherent redneck and blasting out those loud guitar jams. Good News for People Who Love Bad News was a much more mellow affair that actually highlighted Brock's talent for writing beautiful rock ballads.
