  Editing … a lot of times on his show and daily show I notice that. Sometimes they sell the importance of an issue so well that sprinkling in a lame joke is completely unnecessary and only serves to cheapen the message. I think someone on the writing staff needs to be able to tell the others when is enough instead of trying to elbow in an extra joke to avoid getting fired.
