It's the easiest Gradius, but it's still tough as nails. I managed to survive up to the last level. By that time, 20 or so ships are shooting a million bullets on the screen at once. Believe it or not, an experienced player could probably breeze through this game after 20 or 30 hours of practice. Spread out over the course of the year. It's quick, hardcore fun.
