This time, Treasure worked on the next Gradius game. It's a fantastic shmup with the best 3D graphic style out of all the games in the series. Treasure also added cool features, such as a powerup to control the direction of bullets using the right analog stick. Sure it's brutal, but as I've written before, anything is better than that impossible arcade version of Gradius 3. If anything, Treasure knew how to improve the series' best qualities.
