A marine and two scientists explore an asteroid for alien life, but then they get sucked into some dimensional portal to another planet. It's campy, but the Steven Spielberg story certainly has that fuzzy sci-fi appeal. The music is also surprisingly atmospheric, kind of like an out-of-this-world Vangelis soundtrack. I haven't played this in ages, but the game's dramatic and humorous dialogue was still ahead of its time.
