There are definitely classic examples in the Metroidvania genre, but I think this just might be the best example that I've played. If you don't game on PC, this is one of the best reasons to own an XB1. The sequel is a day one purchase for me.

Editing … Amazing how every XB1 game I've ever wanted keeps coming to PC (or being cancelled)

Editing … Yeah, if you're a PC gamer there really aren't many reasons to own an XB1. I was interested in some of the console exclusives, and many of my 360 online friends went with the XB1. Even then, it took someone to offer the system to me for $100 for me to finally budge on getting one. I've been having fun with it though, although the Scalebound cancellation was a definite bummer. On the other hand, Ori was a fantastic surprise that I wasn't counting on.

Editing … I would've bought an Xbone just for Quantum Break. But then it was ported to Windows 10. ... and then the Steam version was released, and it turned out that the Windows DirectX11 version was the original version, and the DX12/Xbox versions were the ports, meaning that Remedy's game was always meant for PC.
