This is a great start to the MCU, Robert Downey Jr.'s performance is great and the witty dialog he spouts out, makes his entire existence on screen a pleasant experience. The sharp crime drama and terrorist related storyline also adds. This is also sets up the amazing message throughout the entire MCU that secret identities that NOBODY can figure out are passe and outdated. It's defined by the movies ending line of "I am Iron Man". This also gives birth to marvel post-credit scenes truly meaning something and starting up the recruitment process for the Avengers. The only thing I can really knock points off of, is that the third act is a bit less impactful than the first two thirds of the movie due to the uninspired villain fight, but luckily the stakes were high enough to nullify any determent. Still one of the best superhero films out there.
