This Humble Monthly's had me puzzling for a while.
It's got God Eater 2, which is a big plus.
It's got Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which is a plus, but it doesn't have any of the DLC, which is a negative. When a game has any DLC I'd give a shot, then I buy the complete edition. If I get the base game, I know that I'll never, ever bother spending money on the DLC.
Mafia 3 includes one DLC, and it is the game's most popular one too, but still--I will never have access to the rest of the game's additional content because I will never bother spending on it.

So like, am I willing to buy two incomplete games? I'd play all of the DLC if I had it, but I would not spend on it unless massively discounted, like those complete bundles. Plus, chances are I won't replay at least one of those games, so after I've beaten it without any DLC missions, I'll never experience the full game with all of its content. This is why I don't buy Ubisoft games until the Gold Deluxe Special Edition has had a price drop and then a massive discount, lowering a previously $100 package to about $10. $15 max.

Editing … The Humble Monthly almost never comes with the DLC. You've just got to decide if you think it's still worth it or not.

Editing … Going by the reviews Mankind Divided's a poor sequel compared to Human Revolution so I never picked it up. They gave it away on PS Plus last month but I haven't given it a proper try yet.

Editing … I never got real into Deus Ex, Human Revolution was just okay for me, and the first game's mechanics and level design were crazy outdated, so Mankind Divided isn't a massive pull, but I'd still play it (and then never feel like I played the whole thing since I'd never buy the full game)

Editing … I liked Human Revolution, but I think I was just ogling over all the gold-tinted graphics. The boss battles in that game really pissed me off. Half the time, I felt more like I was winning by luck.

Editing … I wonder if the boss battles are part of why I thought the game was only okay. I don't recall liking any of them. Maybe that director's cut improves them all.

Editing … Woah, director's cut seems to actually remove a lot of the gold tinted lighting. There's more quiet blues and greys. It doesn't look great in side-by-side comparisons with that in mind. There might be certain areas where it looks better, but I haven't seen them yet.

Editing … Maybe the gold tint was largely just a filter, and they removed it? People tend to dislike colored filters overlaying their games, Fallout 3 and New Vegas both have very popular mods to remove the green/yellow respective tints.

Editing … btw I bought the bundle and was ultra shocked to see that God Eater 2 also included God Eater Resurrection for free so that's pretty fucking hype

Editing … Oh, that's sweet. I bet that the PC version of God Eater has an improved save system. The original PSP game had a terrible problem with save files getting corrupted all the time. I never finished it because I had to back up my saves all the time.
