This guy fuckin dropped his phone number on Twitter for his fans, so I hit him up with a voicemail and a few texts, which he responded to. What surprised me the most, however, was when I was lying in bed unable to sleep and suddenly my phone rings, and he's actually calling. Holy shit. We went through introductions and he said to text whenever I wanted. I asked why he released his number, and he basically said that he realized he wasn't in his career for the stardom, but to build a family with the people that love his music.
What a guy.
