Y'know there's no shortage of much deserved praise for Andy Serkis bringing wild inhuman creatures to life with his motion capture performances, with some saying he deserves Academy Award considerations, but I think Doug Jones deserves every bit as much acclaim. He manages to deliver such beautifully nuanced performances through thick layers of latex, and he has to be such a good sport to climb into all those uncomfortable looking suits and costumes for roles few will recognize him from. Also good on him for winning the Alabama senate race against that pedo-lunatic Roy Moore/obvious joke.
