I might hate most of the music of the 2010 decade, but Vampire Weekend's third album was a true classic. It still has the preppy singing style of the band's previous albums, but there's such a wild variety of noises to pique anyone's interests. "Diane Young" has the hard, fast beat of a post-punk romp. "Unbelievers" sounds similar to the old alt-rock jams of the 90s. Cushion that with a lot more electronic and orchestral sounds and we've got what could be one of last great rock albums. Sigh...
