I assume this is the page for what is now known as The Sims Freeplay. I've spent a couple days with it. It's really weird. It's basically "phone game" with a Sims layer on top. It's structured more like that Pony ios game I played than a Sims game. I'm not used to how real time it is. Going to work for 9 hours actually takes 9 REAL WORLD HOURS. Basically you're never supposed to completely exist from the game and check in on it once in a while, similar to how I assume those Tamagachi things worked. I don't know how much I like it as a game, but it's different from what I'm used to and therefore kind of exciting. I'm not sure if the Sims will die if I just leave them alone for days or if they automatically eat and sleep and all that when desperate.

The fact that you can literally watch ads to get in game money and stuff feels sad and scummy though. I'm just gonna ignore that part. It's just one easily missable button but it drags the game down by existing.
