I was expecting something more inspired than this. The effects are good, some of the action is fun, and the Ares reveal and motives are interesting. The colors are drab and dull, the entire mother daughter conflict at the start was bland, and the love story was eye rolling in how fast and unbelievable it was. Those two did not fall in love, plain and simple.
