When I finished this pack of cliches I assumed that I was missing out on something, that I didn't get the movie, so I looked up some analyses--no, I didn't miss anything (except the fun meaning of the opening credits), it's just an incredibly basic story right out of a high school creative writing course.
It could've been better. It should've been better. It had some great aspects. But it really just didn't work out.
