This movie was impossible, just impossible to find in HD quality.
The film used to be found on Amazon Video and iTunes, and never had a physical release. However, after the Amazon and iTunes listings went down, it seemed there were no HD copies in circulation. Thepiratebay didn't have the film in *any* quality, no movie site did. I could only find it in like, 360p and with a horrible bitrate.
So I got in contact with the director and he made it available on Vimeo, so I bought myself the download https://vimeo.com/ondemand/apocalypse
