Finally finished the series after binging and stopping several times over the past year and a half. I put off starting for so long, mostly for dumb fan reasons, but am glad I finally got around to it. Overall a solid and sometimes excellent war serial with a lot of great characters and storylines. The series wavered whenever it tried to tackle politics because of how dumbed down and childish they made it, but it really shine when it was dealing with the war itself. One of the biggest things it brought to the Star Wars table was an in-depth look at the lives of the clones themselves, which have only been focused on in a few other works (mainly the Traviss books, which are not great). Love all of the series original bounty hunters, especially Cad Bane. Still annoyed about some continuity stuff when dealing with other EU things, but I'll live.
