Downloaded this off of PSN because I got some ps1 racing nostalgia and completed the easy tournament. Thoughts:

- I like the old school graphics. I find them charming. It's easy to see where you're going. How nice the tracks look varies a lot though.
- I like most of the late 90s electronic-y music. It's kind of both soothing and exciting.
- There's no single race mode. There's the tournament, time trial, and multiplayer. If you want to race against AI you have to do the tournament. Dumb.
- There's, like, writing, and an actual character with a story who talks to you. It's weird.
- Controls are good. I loved the car I had in the later races. I'd start to turn right when I was about to hit a wall and it would just magically turn on a dime.

The game feels like a light 7.5 to me. It's fun. I used to play games like this a lot as a kid.
