I don't like the terms "woke" or "redpilled." They mean nothing.
When I'm told I'm "woke," it's not because I truly said something aware, but because I said it to someone who agrees with me. It just means "you hold my uncommon beliefs, thanks m'dude." "Redpilled" is just the anti-SJW-exclusive synonym, it means nothing but "you hold similar anti-SJW sentiments, thanks m'dude."
But it sure feels rewarding to be noted as holding such "realized" beliefs, huh? Let's keep telling people who agree with us that they've downed the red pill, they're woke now. I dunno man, it just doesn't feel right.
How do I articulate that? It feels too "safe" and rewarding to have a term to compliment someone for agreeing with you. "I like how you think, keep thinking that way, this is the real and truthful way, the woke way to think, the way you think if you choose to take the red pill and wake up to this perception of reality."

But what an awfully woke thing to say, my redpilled dude.
