It turns out my mom, who has not once prior to watching me playing The Last Guardian shown any interest in games of any kind, has fallen in love with Trico. She, my dad and one of my sisters watched me play this game from start to finish and my mom even read its wikipedia article and watched the last half hour of the game on youtube. Whenever Trico scratched his ears or did anything really she was in complete "daaww"-mode :P So, yeah. It's that good.
Totally worth the wait. Not only the ending was perfect. 10/10
