It's a lot of fun for a single co-op playthrough and offers good "survival" oriented combat. Weapon crafting is fun. There are many harmless bugs that make the game more entertaining, like a character instantly dying from kicking a beach ball. However, the story is so incredibly bland that it isn't worth it to sit through it a second time long enough to unlock the later areas of the game. They clearly tried to make the game emotional, but the main characters are actually robotic, devoid of any personality. It basically has no lasting appeal after you beat it once.
