This is an outstandingly fun rhythm game that takes clear inspiration from the Professor Layton games. The core gameplay--comprised of almost 50 rhythm mini-games--is pure, addictive fun and uses the 3DS's unique hardware in a number of clever ways. Apart from the usual ability to go back and try to top your high score, there are certain "side-quests" and other accomplishments that unlock bonus chapters, so there's a pretty good amount of replayability. Also loved the nods to SEGA's other rhythm franchises, Samba de Amigo and Space Channel 5.
