Young Justice starts as a dumb fun cartoon with good action and animation and evolves into a large scale plot with lots of continuity. I'm not sure I've ever seen a story this complex not collapse under its own weight. There are piles upon piles of characters, twists, backstabs, and developments, but it stays easy enough to follow, and the cast is pretty likable, even if most of them don't have much depth. It's also an intense show with intimidating baddies, even if the show rarely has the balls to actually kill anyone. It's a quality work and a pleasant surprise. Ranked as my 30th favorite show.
