De Palma is a fantastic documentary that works not only as a personal retrospective look at the directors career from the man himself but also as a compelling and insightful look at not only the evolution of the film industry but also the directing profession as a whole, working incredibly well for not only for fans of De Palma work but also working well for the fans of the media as a whole - I don't even consider myself that big of a fan of De Palma and I loved every bit of this.

Truly compelling stuff here.
