Editing … "Dualshock 4 sucks on PC" really? So its not the controller itself, just when it's connected to a PC? What happens that makes it bad?

Editing … The button inputs get all mixed up in some games. E.g. normally the b button should be the circle button, but not the l2 button or sth like that. In Ori the attack and jump buttons are on the same button (square) when using a dualshock 4 on PC, compared to the x and a buttons when using a Xbox One controller on PC, like it should be

Editing … Had that experience with AM2R. I wanted to use my DS4 for its d-pad because my diagonal inputs kept getting mixed up while using the analog stick and naturally the d-pad on my 360 Windows controller sucks. It was a big headache figuring out which buttons were mapped where. However I later realized that AM2R is in fact the best game ever and among its numerous gameplay options it allows you to adjust the deadzone of the analog sticks, so I was able to enjoy a smooth experience with my 360 pad. Also Samus has analog movement in that game so you're better off with a stick. Like I said, best game ever.
