The former was too cheesy for me--idk why, maybe it's internalized sexism since I don't mind some of the cheesy magical girl shows--and Food Wars was just like, gratuitously sexual (and rapey in literally the first scene) for no reason lol. I don't like overly sexual and raunchy anime, it's just gross. Wood, yeah, I've watched the first 3 eps so far. Something about it just lacks the charm of the games imo, probably the fact that there's not enough time to pack in all of that amazing dialogue the games have. Plus I don't know Japanese, so for me the pun names are basically gone, which is sad. I'm also a little disappointed with the art/animation--it's not really BAD like, say, Sailor Moon Crystal's first two arcs, but just kind of underwhelming. But I love the shit out of Ace Attorney so I'm probably being unfair.
